Feature 1

The Biesse Stream A edge bander is a truly industrial solution, focused on productivity and throughput. Configurable for each manufacturer with appropriate stations for the banding materials and sizes being applied. Perfectly applied banded parts exit the machine without the need for additional manual processing to finish the edge geometry, or remove adhesive.

Feature 2

DON'T RETURN COMPLETED PARTS!!!

Return conveyors help bring parts that need an additional edge applied back to the operator. Most important with the W4 is that it does not return parts back to the operator that do not need an additional edging operations. Only returning parts that require operator action for additional processing.

Why require an operator, or a second person at outfeed to handle a completed part, to stack? If an operator can only handle 10 parts per minute, don't waste one of their actions on a completed part. Allow the W4 to take a finished part out of the processing sequence and automatically stack.

Feature 3

With a user friendly touchscreen controller interface, operators can easily change between banding material, thickness, working unit operation without opening the hood to make changes. All adjustments inside the machine are accurate on precision ground ball screws driven by stepper motors for linear positioning based on automatic rotation.

Quick banding changes are important when a lot of color, thickness or coil types are required throughout the day. Speed the process with Biesse AutoCoil loading system.

The adhesive station is configurable to include EVA, PUR and / or glueless forced hot air banding. The quickmelt system allows for the thinnest glue line roller system, while minimizing the amount of glue at full temperature in a pot. Warm Glue is added as required, never shocking the temperature of the pot with cold pellets.

IT90 Front and Bank Trim from Biesse offers several advantages. By using a copy mechanism that doesn't slide on the front and back edges, a scuff mark from the copy device is never created.

The blades move linearly with the part, jumping out of the work line and not needing to reset above the part, delaying entry of the next part.

Reducing the panel gap before the next part can be introduced from 750mm for end trim on a 45deg system, to 350mm for IT90.

The Stream A has both speed and frequent preparedness for a part. More frequent introduction of a part to the machine has a greater impact on productivity than does the track speed.

Edge Scraping is the last unit to machine plastic edges. Stream A uses a robust scraping unit mounted ridge to the machine frame, elimiating the effect of machine vibrations from other work units on the finished part quality.
